GE: 25-year service agreement with West African Energy

(CercleFinance.com) - GE announces that GE Vernova's Gas Power business has signed a 25-year service agreement for West African Energy's 300 megawatt (MW) combined-cycle power project in Dakar, Senegal.

This is to help ensure the long-term availability and reliability of the power plant's gas turbines to meet Senegal's growing energy demand.

In addition to the service agreement, GE Vernova will also provide Asset Performance Management (APM) software to promote the use of predictive analytics across the entire power island (gas turbines and generators).

The agreement includes the supply of parts, repairs, field services and advanced predictive maintenance for both the GE Vernova 9E.03 gas turbines and ancillary equipment.
