General Electric: Q4 below consensus

(CercleFinance.com) - General Electric's last quarter of its fiscal year 2017 fell far short of the consensus.


The American conglomerate's results were marked by a 1.13 dollar loss per share, against an EPS of 39 cents a year earlier. Above all, on an adjusted basis, "GE" lamented a 1.23 dollar loss per share, while the consensus was expecting EPS of 29 cents.

The Group also disappointed in terms of its activity, with turnover falling to 31.4 billion dollars, compared with 33.09 billion dollars a year ago and the consensus of 33.87 billion dollars.
