Foot Locker: optimistic about annual targets

e. 4.25 to 4.60 dollars for adjusted EPS and -6% to -4% for revenue growth.
In Q1, the sporting goods chain posted adjusted EPS of 1.60 dollars, down almost 18% from the 1.96 dollar a year ago, on revenues that are up 1% to 2.17 billion dollars (-1.9% on a same-store basis).
The company was pleased with the numbers, getting off to a good start to 2022, delivering a strong quarter faced with tough comparisons due to last year's fiscal stimulus and historically low special offers, it said.
