DowDuPont: quarterly sales up on proforma basis.
(CercleFinance.com) - The newly formed DowDuPont reported higher quarterly results on Thursday, thanks to robust demand on most of its markets, as well as price increases.
The US chemical giant said pro-forma net sales rose to 18.3 billion euros in the third quarter, from 17 billion euros, while pro-forma adjusted EPS was 0.55 dollar, compared to 0.50 dollar in the same period a year ago.
DowDuPont's unaudited pro-forma financial statements are based on the historical consolidated financial statements of Dow and DuPont, presented as if their merger had been completed on 1 January 2016.
