Dollar General: Todd Vasos recalled as CEO
(CercleFinance.com) - Dollar General announced Thursday evening that current board member Todd Vasos has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO), succeeding Jeff Owen.
As from now, he returns to a position he previously held from June 2015 to November 2022.
The food retailer says that over these seven years, it has created nearly 60,000 net new jobs, increased annual sales by over 80% and has more than doubled its market capitalisation to around $58bn.
In addition, Dollar General has updated its guidance for the current fiscal year, now expecting net sales growth of 1.5% to 2.5% (including flat or a decline of up to 1% on a comparable basis), with EPS of $7.10 to $7.60, or thereabouts.
