Delta Airlines: quarterly EPS above estimates
(CercleFinance.com) - Delta Airlines has posted adjusted EPS that is up 28% at 96 cents for its March quarter, seven cents above the consensus, driven by a 7.
5% increase in total adjusted revenue to 10.4 billion dollars.
The Atlanta-based airline says that it has benefited from a strong core performance, with a 2.4% increase in adjusted unit revenue, as well as the early renewal of an agreement with American Express.
On the strength of these results, CEO Ed Bastian announced "increased confidence in achieving our full-year plan of top-line growth, margin expansion and double-digit earnings growth.”
