Dell: little enthusiasm despite good results
(CercleFinance.com) - Dell Technologies opened Friday's trading session on a hesitant note, despite its good quarterly results published the previous evening.
The server and PC maker reported after trading on Thursday, Q4 revenue of 25 billion dollars, down 11% y-o-y.
Analysts were only looking for 21.6 billion dollars in revenue for the quarter ended in early February.
Operating profit was down 26% to 1.2 billion dollars over the quarter, resulting in EPS of $1.80, again above the consensus of $1.25.
