Cisco: completes acquisition of BroadSoft
(CercleFinance.com) - Cisco has completed its acquisition of BroadSoft, in a deal aimed at accelerating the company's strategy in cloud and collaboration.
Under the terms of the agreement, Cisco will pay 55 dollars per share, in cash for a total price of approximately 1.9 billion dollars net of cash and investment.
BroadSoft's portfolio includes solutions for meetings, messaging, customer care, hardware endpoints and services portfolio.
This means that BroadSoft CEO Michael Tessler and his teams will be joining Cisco's unified communications technology group.
