Caterpillar: Q4 EPS above estimates

Over the past year, the machinery giant posted adjusted EPS of 11.06 dollars, within its target range provided three months ago (10.90-11.40 dollars), while its revenues slipped 2% to 53.8 billion dollars.
Regarding 2020, Caterpillar expects EPS of 8.50-10 dollars, expecting "global economic uncertainty to pressure sales to users in 2020 and cause dealers to further reduce inventories".
