Boeing: 777X plane successfully passes flight test
(CercleFinance.com) - The new Boeing 777X will enter the next phase of its test program.
The first of four 777-9 flight test aircraft, the WH001, will now be checked before resuming testing in the next few days.
The 777X took off on 25 January at Paine Field in Everett, Washington, at 10.09 a.m., local time, for a three-hour and 51-minute flight over Washington State before landing at the Boeing airfield in Seattle.
The pilots developed a detailed test plan to test the aircraft's systems and structures while the Seattle test team monitored the data in real time.
