(CercleFinance.com) - Boeing aims to make its defence, space and security unit more competitive by eliminating a layer of executive oversight.
As of July 1, the current military aircraft and network and space systems segments will evolve into smaller entities.
The aerospace and defence giant said this simplified, flatter structure will "accelerate decision making."
As a result, about 50 executive positions will be affected this year.
