Baker Hughes: major contract with Venture Global LNG
(CercleFinance.com) - On Monday Baker Hughes announced that it has won a major contract to supply Venture Global LNG with a modular liquefied natural gas (LNG) system and an electrical island.
The contract was awarded as part of an equipment supply framework agreement between Venture Global LNG and Baker Hughes, and covers a production capacity of over 100 million metric tonnes p.a. (MTPA), which has been extended by 70 MTPA.
This contract follows several collaborations between Venture Global and Baker Hughes, notably in complete LNG technology solutions for the Calcasieu Pass and Plaquemines LNG projects in Louisiana.
