Amazon: launches joint credit card with Amex
(CercleFinance.com) - Amazon and American Express are launching a joint credit card that is specifically targeted at small businesses, the companies said in a statement on Tuesday.
The card, which has no annual credit card fee, features 5% back or 90-day payment terms for Prime members on US purchases on Amazon and Whole Foods Market platforms, they said.
It offers 3% back or 60-day payment terms for other customers, the companies said.
Additional benefits include 2% back on purchases at US restaurants and gasoline stations, and on wireless telephone services, as well as 1% back on other purchases.
Upon signing up, Prime members will receive a 125 dollar Amazon.com gift card, while other customers will get a 100 dollar Amazon.com gift card.
