Alphabet: Google praises AI for breast cancer screening

The Google team said that it has provided evidence of the ability of the AI system to outperform all of the human readers in an independent study of six radiologists.
The paper, with findings published in "Nature" today, showed an absolute reduction of 5.7% and 1.2% in false positives and 9.4% and 2.7% in false negatives.
The study screened an impressive 25,856 mammograms in the United Kingdom, and 3,097 in the United States.
