AT&T: Warner Bros' Shazam! tops weekend box office
(CercleFinance.com) - Warner Bros' super hero parody film "Shazam!" reached top spot at the box office over the past weekend, Comscore said on Monday.
The film, starring Zachary Levi from TV show "Chuck" as the titular DC super hero, went straight in at number one - both at the worldwide and domestic box office - the audience company said.
For the weekend ending 7 April, the movie beat "Dumbo" and "Pet Semetary" at the worldwide level, Comscore said.
Warner Bros. belongs to AT&T since the merger between the US telecom operator and media giant Time Warner.
