Alfa Laval: acquires 100% of Dutch group MPS
(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday Alfa Laval announced that it has acquired 100% of the Dutch company Marine Performance Systems (MPS), in which the Swedish engineering group already had a minority stake since 2021.
Alfa Laval said that MPS has developed an innovative lubrication technology that significantly reduces friction and improves the hydrodynamics of ships, resulting in fuel savings.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
