Alfa Laval: wins ballast water treatment deal in Turkey
(CercleFinance.com) - Swedish engineering firm Alfa Laval said on Friday it has won an order to supply ballast water treatment systems to a shipowner in Turkey.
This order is worth approximately 95 million Swedish kronor (around 9.2 million euros), the group said, with deliveries scheduled for 2019 to 2021.
Alfa Laval also said that it has taken a minority equity stake in Malta, a startup that has developed an innovative energy storage solution to substantially grow the implementation of renewable energy.
Malta was incubated at X, Alphabet's Moonshot Factory, formerly Google [x], the company said.
