Ericsson: extends contract with India's Airtel
(CercleFinance.com) - Ericsson said it has won a multi-year contract extension to supply 5G radio and transport equipment for Bharti Airtel, India's biggest communications service provider.
The products, which will be used to increase Airtel's network capacities, will be manufactured in India, the Swedish company said in a statement.
The extended deal follows a renewed pan-India managed services contract that was announced in July of this year, Ericsson said.
The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
