H&M: to propose CEO Karl-Johan Persson as new board chairman
(CercleFinance.com) - H&M's board will propose Karl-Johan Persson, its current CEO, as its new chairman at a general shareholder meeting on 7 May, the Swedish budget fashion company said in a statement on Wednesday.
The move comes after Stefan Persson, H&M's main owner and father of Karl-Johan Persson, announced last week that he will not stand for re-election as H&M's chairman at this spring's annual general meeting.
