Equinor: contract extensions for NOK20bn
(CercleFinance.com) - Equinor announces the extension of its contracts with Baker Hughes Norge, Halliburton AS and Schlumberger Norge AS for integrated drilling and well services on its Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS) fields.
Equinor is also extending its specialist services contracts with the same companies and 13 other suppliers. The contracts will run for two years from 1 June.
The contract extension for drilling services is estimated to be worth approximately 14 billion Norwegian kronor and will provide work for approximately 2,000 people on 18 fixed and 12 mobile rigs.
The total value of specialised services during the same period is estimated at almost 6 billion Norwegian kronor. Meanwhile, specialised services will employ about 600 people.
