Equinor: new collaboration agreements with Aker, TechnipFMC
(CercleFinance.com) - Norwegian oil firm Equnior has signed agreements with the oil services groups Aker Solutions and TechnipFMC to strengthen collaboration on sub-sea projects, mainly located on the Norwegian continental shelf, the companies said on Wednesday.
These two agreements will give Equinor predictability and long-term perspective, while facilitating improvements in safety, quality, cost and technology from concept through to project execution, Equinor said.
In 2017, Equinor and its partners awarded projects amounting to over 90 billion Norwegian kronor (about 11 billion dollars) on the Norwegian continental shelf.
