Stellantis: to create recycling JV with Orano
(CercleFinance.com) - Stellantis announces the signature of an MoU with Orano to create a joint venture specializing in the recycling of end-of-life vehicle batteries and production waste from gigafactories in Europe and North America.
This joint venture will reinforce Stellantis' position in the battery value chain by securing an additional supply of the cobalt, nickel and lithium that are needed for the electrification of the sector and energy transition.
