Stellantis: no longer going to CES in Las Vegas
(CercleFinance.com) - Stellantis yesterday decided not to go to the Consumer Electronic Show (CES®) 2024, the world's largest technology trade fair, scheduled for next January in Las Vegas (Nevada).
The car maker cites the cost of the strike currently being organised by the UAW (the main automotive workers' union). This cancellation is part of the countermeasures put in place by Stellantis to mitigate the financial impact of the strike and preserve the company's capital.
In view of the current state of negotiations in the US, preserving the company's fundamentals and thus protecting its future is an absolute priority for Stellantis management, it said.
