Stellantis: saloon and estate of 308 to be 100% electric
(CercleFinance.com) - Already available in electrified rechargeable hybrid versions, the Peugeot 308 saloon and estate will be offered in a 100% electric version from 2023.
Peugeot will thus be the first European car maker to offer a 100% electric estate. The electric 308 and 308 SW will be powered by a brand new electric engine.
This dual offer is a response adapted to customers' needs with an average consumption of 12.7 kWh. Available in the Allure and GT trim levels, the new Peugeots will hit the market in mid-2023.
The gearbox of the Peugeot E-308 and E-308 SW optimises range, while maintaining a high level of performance. The new-generation battery gives vehicles a range of over 400 km.
The current was on for the stock this morning, although nothing more - up just 0.3% in the first half-hour of trading, in line with the CAC 40 itself.
