TomTom: wins deal to provide Ford with traffic data
(CercleFinance.com) - The Dutch navigation company TomTom said on Thursday that it had won a multi-year deal to provide Ford's new voice-activated technology with its real-time traffic service.
Ford's all-new 2021 F-150 pickup - revealed just days ago - and the soon to be delivered all-electric Mustang Mach-E SUV are the first vehicles available with the technology, TomTom said.
TomTom did not disclose the terms of the deal, although the announcement prompted a 2.5% rise in its share price on Euronext Amsterdam on Thursday morning.
