ABN Amro: reorganisation into three units, changes at top

(CercleFinance.com) - The Dutch bank ABN Amro announced on Monday that it is reorganising into three new units, a move that will be accompanied by a reshuffle of its executive committee.

The group will now be structured around a retail and corporate banking arm, a wealth management business led by Choy van der Hooft-Cheong and a financing division headed by Dan Dorner.

To accompany this so-called “streamlined” structure, ABN Amro also plans to set up a new, streamlined executive committee.

In addition to the CEO and the heads of the three new divisions, this governing body will include CFO Lars Kramer, CTO Christian Bornfeld, Risk Director Tanja Cuppen and HR Director Gerard Penning.
