Altice: increases stake in SFR; squeeze-out ahead.
(CercleFinance.com) - Altice today announced that on 9 August it has entered into several agreements to buy SFR Group shares through an exchange of Altice A shares, which provide it with 95.
9% of the share capital and voting rights of SFR Group.
As a result, Patrick Drahi's telecommunications group announces its intention to file with the AMF in September a public repurchase offer followed by a squeeze-out at a price of 34.50 euros per SFR share.
SFR Group's board of directors will deliver a reasoned opinion on the proposed offer and has appointed the firm Finexsi as an independent expert to prepare a report on the fairness of its financial terms.
