ASML: buys back 29 million euros of own shares
(CercleFinance.com) - ASML, one of the world's biggest semi-conductor equipment makers, said on Monday that it has bought back shares amounting to over 29 million euros last week, as part of a buyback program.
ASML repurchased about 185,500 shares at prices between 183.28 euros and 185.39 euros, the Dutch company said in a statement.
By 16:00 today, ASML shares were up 0.5% at 184.7 euros on Euronext Amsterdam.
In January, ASML announced its intention to purchase up to 2.5 billion euros of shares as part of a new share buyback program to be executed over 2018 and 2019.
