Wolters Kluwer: sells Belgian training business
(CercleFinance.com) - Wolters Kluwer has reached a binding agreement to sell its Belgian training assets to Dutch education company NCOI Group, the publisher said on Thursday.
In a statement, Wolters Kluwer said the deal will provide "greater focus" on its core businesses.
In Belgium, the company now intends to build on its position in professional information solutions, software, and services for the legal and regulatory, tax and accounting, and health and safety (HSE) segments.
The Belgian training business recorded revenues of 13 million euros in 2018 and employs 46 people, said Wolters Kluwer.
