Wolters Kluwer: takes over Firecracker
(CercleFinance.com) - Wolters Kluwer Health has announced signing an agreement to acquire Firecracker, a solution that is used by over 20% of US medical students.
The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 2009, Firecracker uses a technology and data-driven approach to help medical students prepare for their key examinations, including the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE).
Headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, the acquired company has a team of 16 employees. The finalisation of its acquisition by the Dutch professional and educational publishing group remains subject to usual regulatory conditions.
