Wolters Kluwer: to sell Swedish publishing and trade assets.
(CercleFinance.com) - Wolters Kluwer has agreed to sell certain Swedish publishing and trade services assets to Karnov Group for an enterprise value of 656 million Swedish kronor (approximately 68 million euros).
The Dutch publisher said that the divestment is part of its plan to further sharpen its focus on core markets where its legal and regulatory division is best positioned for long-term growth.
The Swedish assets to be sold include legal and regulatory information, in both print and digital formats, as well as printing and distribution services.
Wolters Kluwer said it plans to continue to invest in legal software solutions in Sweden.
