BinckBank: Saxo Bank controls nearly 98% of capital
(CercleFinance.com) - Saxo Bank controlled nearly 98% of BinckBank's capital at the end of its offer that was completed yesterday, according to a statement made on Wednesday evening.
Last week the Danish bank announced that it has completed the acquisition of the BinckBank, having taken a stake of around 95.1% in the Dutch online broker.
The period that the offer was opened again saw another 2.8% of the group's capital tendered.
With Saxo now holding more than 95% of Binck's capital, a squeeze-out procedure will be implemented, with a view to delisting BinckBank shares from Euronext Amsterdam on the evening of 25 September.
