BinckBank: acquisition finalised by Saxo Bank
(CercleFinance.com) - On Thursday the Danish group Saxo Bank announced that it has completed the acquisition of the Dutch online broker BinckBank, finalising the takeover bid that was made in December 2018.
Saxo Bank now says it intends to work on integrating both groups, by pooling their technological infrastructure, while offering new products and services. Indeed, this process will take some time, the bank said.
After the deal, Saxo Bank will now manage assets of around 46 billion euros for almost 860,000 clients.
As of 7 August, Saxo Bank controlled approximately 95.1% of BinckBank's capital.
