Aegon: settlement agreement with SEC
(CercleFinance.com) - Aegon has announced that it has reached an agreement with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regarding the problem of quantitative asset management models implemented by its US subsidiaries and related information.
Under this agreement with the US stockmarket regulator, the Dutch insurer will, take a total charge of 97.6 million dollars, considering however that it had already recorded a provision of 100 million dollars in its accounts for this in Q4 2017.
