Airbus: in potential negotiations for order from IAG
(CercleFinance.com) - IAG is reportedly in negotiations with Airbus and Boeing for an order of wide-body jets to replace the old B777s, Bloomberg says.
The order could include 20+ aircraft, the news agency says.
IAG, the parent company of British Airways, Iberia and Vueling, already converted options announced in September 2022 for 10 Airbus A320neo aircraft into firm orders at the end of June.
These aircraft, which are scheduled for delivery in 2028, are intended to replace the airline's existing A320ceo fleet.
