Airbus: Barclays stays on 'Overweight', reduces target

(CercleFinance.com) - Barclays reiterates its 'overweight' rating on Airbus, but with a reduced target price of 68 euros, in the wake of the forecasts leading up to the publication of the 3rd quarter results, on 29 October.

The broker says that “we expect most investor focus to be centred on the cash outlook” reminding that “current ambition is for no cash consumption before M&A and customer financing in H2”.

Barclays believes that this target will be reaffirmed, but it considers that investors are likely to remain concerned by the aircraft manufacturer's capacity to generate cash next year.
