Airbus: extends training offer
(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus Services has launched a new training offer that is focused on composite materials, which is now available to customers worldwide.
New generation aircraft with advanced materials require new skills in damage assessment, inspection and repair procedures.
To meet these challenges and EASA recommendations, Airbus Services is offering a training for the A350 XWB. This tailor-made approach will be extended to other types of aircraft from 2020.
The A350 XWB features the latest aerodynamic design, fuselage and carbon fiber wings. By the end of August 2019, Airbus had recorded a total of 913 firm orders for the A350 XWB from 51 clients and 300 aircraft already in service worldwide.
Airbus Services has tripled its training sites around the world in recent years.
