(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus announces that the US group Indigo Partners has signed a memorandum of understanding for the purchase of another 32 A321 XLRs, as well as the conversion of 18 A320neo orders into A321 XLRs.

This means a total of 50 medium-haul to long-range aircraft.

Based in Arizona, Indigo Partners is a private equity fund specialising in air transport. It has stakes in the low-cost airlines Frontier Airlines (USA), JetSMART (Chile), Volaris (Mexico) and Wizz Air (Hungary), which will receive these 50 aircraft.
