Airbus: A330-900 receives EASA certification

(CercleFinance.com) - The A330-900 has been certified by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
The aircraft is powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines. It is soon expected to be certified by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

With the two A330-900 flight test aircraft, the certification flight test campaign was successfully completed with 1400 test hours in under a year since the first flight of 19 October 2017.

The A330 has received over 1,700 orders from 120 customers. More than 1,400 A330s fly with more than 120 companies worldwide.
