Airbus: delivers 100th plane to Wizz Air
(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus today announced the delivery to fast-growing low-cost airline Wizz Air, of its 100th aircraft from the A320 family - a single-aisle A321ceo, at a ceremony at Budapest Airport.
Fitted with 230 seats and equipped with IAE engines, this aircraft will be deployed on the Wizz network, which covers 141 destinations in 44 countries in Europe and beyond. The company will be delivered with 268 A320 aircraft over the next few years.
