Airbus: strengthens MRO activities in Asia-Pacific
(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus has announced the strengthening of its position in the aeronautical services market in the Asia-Pacific region.
RRM's Regional activities alone will represent over 660 billion dollars over the next 20 years.
While air traffic doubles every 15 years worldwide, the Asia-Pacific fleet is expected to nearly triple by 2036. For services, this represents over a third of MRO's global business by 2036.
Airbus expects that the aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) business alone in Asia will grow by 4.5% per year (compared with 3.7% worldwide) until 2036.
