STMicro: Jean-Marc Chéry will succeed Carlo Bozotti
(CercleFinance.com) - STMicroelectronics has announced that its supervisory board will propose the appointment of Jean-Marc Chéry as the sole member of the executive board at the 2018 AGM.
He will also take the position of chairman & CEO.
Jean-Marc Chéry will take over from Carlo Bozotti, who, over his 41-year career, has made an outstanding contribution to the semiconductor company, having led its recent recovery.
The Supervisory Board also approved the creation of an executive committee, which will be responsible for the company's management and will be headed by the chairman & CEO. The new organisation will become effective once Jean-Marc Chéry is appointed.
