Philips: partnership with Spencer Health extended to Europe
(CercleFinance.com) - Philips announces an extension of its partnership with the Spencer Health Solutions group to Europe.
This is a partnership in technological solutions to help patients and caregivers improve compliance with medication plans.
"Medication adherence reduces hospitalization, emergency department use and doctor's visits of patients and thereby lessens this burden on healthcare systems leading to lower healthcare costs," the Dutch group said.
Already in use by patients taking multiple medications in the US and Canada, Spencer Smart Hub will be launched as part of Philips' portfolio of solutions in several European markets -starting with the Netherlands in the last quarter of 2019.
