Unilever: looking to replace Paul Polman.

(CercleFinance.com) - According to British media, including Sky News, Paul Polman, who has been CEO at Unilever since January 2009, is about to leave the group.


The Anglo-Dutch consumer goods giant, whose brands include Axe, Cif, Dove, Domestos, Lipton, Magnum, etc., and which has a market capitalisation of approximately 140 billion euros in Amsterdam, has mandated the headhunter firm Egon Zehnder International to help it find Mr. Polman's replacement.

The exact date of Mr Polman's departure has not yet been fixed, although Sky News sources report that he will leave his post "in about 18 months".
Analysts at Aurel BGC said this morning that Unilever disappointed recently when it published its results.
