KPN: shares outperform on broker comments
(CercleFinance.com) - Shares of Dutch telecom group KPN rose almost 2% on Friday following positive broker comments on the stock.
Morgan Stanley maintained its "overweight" rating on the share, with a target price of 3 euros, remaining positive ahead of the group's capital markets day next week, which it sees as a "positive catalyst."
Meanwhile, UBS trimmed its target price for the share from 3.05 euros to 3 euros, but kept its "buy" rating, also seeing the group's capital markets day of 28 November as "a potential positive catalyst."
KPN shares are up 1.9% at 2.4 euros in afternoon trading on Euronext Amsterdam, outperforming a 0.8% rise in the STOXX Europe 600 Telecommunications index.
