Arcelormittal: S&P more optimistic on debt.
(CercleFinance.com) - The credit rating agency S&P Global Ratings yesterday raised the outlook associated with its debt rating on the European steel group ArcelorMittal from "neutral" to "positive".
This new outlook may be a forerunner for an upgrade in the agency's rating, which, for the moment, it maintains at 'BB +'.
ArcelorMittal is ready to benefit from currently favourable conditions in the strong steel and iron ore markets, S&P stated in a report, which also highlights the "operational performance" of the integrated steelmaker.
