Panasonic: invests nearly E145m in its Czech plant
(CercleFinance.com) - Panasonic Corporation has announced that it will invest approximately 20 billion yen (about 145 million euros) to increase production at its Czech Republic plant by 2026 to meet the growing demand for air-to-water heat pumps (A2W) in Europe.
Air-to-water heat pumps emit less CO2 than conventional heating systems that use the heat from burning fossil fuels. These environmentally friendly heating systems are increasingly in demand in the European market.
Currently, the energy mix in Europe is changing rapidly, with a decreasing share of gas and other fossil fuels and increasing electrification.
