Toyota: orders up 25% in France
(CercleFinance.com) - Orders received by Toyota France have risen by 25% in the first half of 2018, totaling 53,200, particularly driven by the growth of the hybrid engine.
This represents a 65% share of orders, compared to 60% in 2017.
This performance is boosted by the results of the Aygo, Auris Hybrid and Toyota C-HR models, although especially by the Yaris Hybrid and RAV4 Hybrid, Toyota France said.
Regarding sales to professionals, orders reached 14,000 units in PC and LCV, representing a leap of 37%. Long-term rental sales soared 65%, while LCV sales rose by 45%, the group added.
