Toyota: to start projects jointly with Suzuki
(CercleFinance.com) - Toyota and Suzuki today announce that they have agreed to start discussions on new joint projects for technological, vehicle production and market development.
These discussions will focus on: technological support provided by Denso Corporation and Toyota to Suzuki, to assist it in the development of a compact, ultra high-efficiency powertrain; Toyota Kirloskar Motor Private will produce models developed by Suzuki that are to be sold in India by the Toyota and Suzuki brand networks. Finally, Toyota and Suzuki will supply models developed by Suzuki that will be manufactured in India and then marketed in Africa and other areas by both brands' networks.
