Leonardo: six more helicopters for Abu Dhabi Aviation
(CercleFinance.com) - Leonardo has announced that Abu Dhabi Aviation (ADA) has signed a contract for the acquisition of six AW139 intermediate twin-engine helicopters.
They are due to be delivered between 2024 and 2026 and will be used to perform offshore transport missions, expanding ADA's AW139 fleet which primarily supports the energy industry.
Leonardo and ADA have been working together for more than 15 years, with the operator having acquired a total of 33 aircraft to date, most of which are AW139s.
